Parker Place, La Vernia: Detention and Retention Pond Slabs

For the Parker Place development in La Vernia, we built the concrete for the water retention and detention pond.

Phase 1 of the retention pond slab went in November 18–19, 2021. The detention pond was 100% complete on December 2, 2021.

Pond slabs are poured on slopes and have to handle moving water, so forming, reinforcement and finishing take different methods than flat paving.
