Wash-out pits take abuse every day from equipment, water and sediment. Walls and slab are reinforced and formed as one system, with careful attention to drainage slopes and joints so the structure holds up for years.

In spring 2022 we worked inside a Tesla warehouse, starting March 30 and continuing through early May.

The work included formed pits cut into the existing slab. Each pit was framed with internal bracing, poured and then tied into new slab sections around it.
Around the pits, we poured new slab sections and finished them with power trowels to match the existing floor so equipment and traffic move across smoothly.
